Default Mudflaps or No Mudflaps

I am trying to decide on getting some stock mudflaps for my truck from the dealer or elsewhere. I have stock rims and tires and do not plan changing that configuration at this point. I have seen some trucks with them and of course without them. I think it looks good both ways. I was thinking about getting them more for rock protection. Any thoughts?

I just put some diamond plate ones on my truck.I just like the look of them.Didn't really get them for the protection though,my tires stick out much further than them..

mudflaps and well liners are a must if you appreciate your paint job on your rockers/panels...here's a close up of mine in my album...got them all from Mopar, cheap necessary mod.

I added the factory Dodge ones that fit the truck. I got the front and rear. The rear have the RAM head on them. Keeps rocks and such off of the paint!!

Dont forget to check with Parts/Service from the forum. If you have $ to spend on your truck...that man is a goldmine of decent prices on junk for our trucks!
