Question Spray bedliner- over the rail or no over the rail??

Looking for pictures and comments about bedliner spray in regards to over the rail or not over the rail.

If I don't get the rails sprayed I would want at least a rail protector of some sort.

PICTURES? COMMENTS? Thanks!

I got mine over the rail with Rhinoliner. I did this because on my old Dakota, I got it under the rail and then put on plastic bed rail caps, but had problems with them coming loose. I really like the look of it over the rails.

i would do under the rail, but i dont ever use the bed, so i dont have to worry about damaging it, but if you use the truck (like your suppose to) then id get over the rail. if your not doing color match in the bed, id look into getting the regular black in the bed, and color matched on the rails! still has the clean look as under the rail, but with added protection

I would say over the rail to help protect the bed from scratches. I went with under on mine.

Over the rail, just in case and it looks like it should be there.

Over the rail, if you don't and you use the bed, you are going to get de3nts/scratches. The plastic sidings fall off, and scratch up too! Just get the spray in over the rails, and go with the color match.

Without a doubt over the rail. I've had one truck with liner under and then this one with an over the rail, and the over the rail is far and away better. No more little dents/scratches. The rail caps tend to come loose.

over the rail....for use and if you put a tonneau cover on it will save you scuffs/scratches from it laying on your bed rails.

Line-X over the rails (std. black) - just had it done on my Patriot Blue, the color stuff is way $$, over the rails it looks like it should be there, and like others say you'll end up scratching the top of the rails if you don't!
