Default What Tranny Mode For Your 0-60 Runs?

I have recently been doing some 0-60 runs with my Superchip and I was wondering how other guys are running their transmissions on 0-60 runs. Are you running the trans in regular mode or in the tow/haul mode to get your fastest times?

From what I understand being on or off will not make a difference. I believe it just disables the overdrive to prevent it from going in and out of OD while pulling heavy items. Disable OD on a 0-60 will not do a thing, or having it enabled will not affect anything.

Now, if someone that knows for a fact it does more than disable OD I may change my answer.

The 05s do not have OD off. Just tow/haul

I think it must do something because I run different times with it in tow/haul than I do with it just in normal drive. My fastest in tow/haul is 6.41 while my fastest in normal drive is 6.6x. And the difference is consistent too, always about 2 tenths difference.

The Tow/Haul will help with your 0-60 times but wont help any with 1/4 mile times, in fact I believe I have read in a few posts that it actually hurts it a little because it disables one of the gears in the trans in order to give you a little more torque on the low end. Dont quote me on that though cause Im not 100% possitive, but everytime I have ran it in tow/haul I have had lower 0-60 times than with it turned off

turning off you od or using Tow/Haul will make your t/c lock up at a lower speed and keeps the trany from going into top gear

Well, since I don't have access to a dyno, this is my best method for seeing what effects mods have on my truck. Why is it stupid? I am curious why you would say that.
