Default Rear window

I am wondering an approximate ballpark figure for a rear window. I was loading a couch into my truck Saturday morning and broke the window. It reall pissed me off because I didn't hot the window very had but apparantly it was hard enough. I am looking for the cost of the privacy tint sliding rear window. Also a ball park price of a standard window since this is going to probably be completely out of pocket for me I might opt for a non opeing window. I never really wanted the sliding rear window it was just an option that came with my truck. I have no doubt the difference between the sliding window and a standard window is going to like night and day, however if the sliding window is not that bad I will put it back in.

exactly. if all 3 broke, then your kinda screwed and need to look for a completly new one. but if only 1 section was broken, then you can get that section replaced

Check a local glass company,. they can usually make one cheap or maybe a truck accessory shop that may have a take-out window from a slider install.
The standard rear window on the 08 quad cab SLT is a power slider.

It's all one unit no a piece by piece system, according to the 2 local glass shops I contacted. Both prices were similar $550 for the tinted non opening and $750 for the tinted opening. I opted for the non opening window. I actually like the tint on new window which is not as dark as the stock window. I definately miss my stickers. Oh wekk, I still have an Evil Inside Sticker and I will buy an Army Retired sticker tonight when I go out.

A day late and a few hundred short. I did not receive an e-mail notification so I figured no one had replied si I got the $550 window installed. I was kinda pissed I had to pay 4.2 hours labor for an hour worth of work.
