Default Mopar Side Step 08Ram Part Number & Color.

I am trying to get some Mopar Side Steps for my new 08 quad cab truck and all the part numbers are confusing me. I want to get the right ones the first time.

If anyone here has access to a list or system, can they please help me out.

According to the Dodge website i need 82209623AE, but other sellers tell me i need 82211485AB others say 82209625 ? Something isnt right.

Thanks,
Pete

The ones that the dealer installed on mine were the 82211485. The AB is just a revision number.

So what do you think is better the Chrome or the Powder Coat Black ones ?
I guess whatever matches the Trucks color is important but also the finish that last longer.
My Ram is Mineral Grey Color.

Thanks
Pete

They are aluminum underneath so they won't rust. I prefer the chrome.

I went with Black, go figure! I got mine from Henson Motors and they were cheaper then any dealer I could find.

The right part # is 82209623AE, 82211485AB is also the right part # but only if the dealer orders them 15 at a time. Most dealers have the 82209623AE but both numbers are correct.

That would explain why my number doesn't show up on the Mopar website

I went ahead and purchased these:

I had a paypal coupon so that helped.

Thanks for everyones help, i think this is what i was looking for. I am kinda sick of having other people jump in and roll out of my truck.
