Unhappy I have a few problems i could use some help with....

To start with I was checking my oil and noticed under the fill cap that it was a rusty orange color and was dripping with water. I am real worried about that because I have already lost one motor due to water in it. What could cause that? It has been running a little warmer than usual but when I turn the heater on it will cool itself back off.
The other thing I noticed in park I can rev it and it won't cut off at 4k it will just rev like any other car when you hold the gas...

Dude, fix you sig pic, it takes up most of the screen

If you do not drive the truck for long distances once in awhile, condensation will build up in the crankcase causing moisture to form in the valve covers. Short in-town trips do not get the oil hot enough to boil out any moisture accumulated in there.
Also mekr sure that your PVC system is working properly.

the condensation on the cap is normal. it will look rusty sometimes. as long as the dipstick doesnt look like it came out of a milkshake your fine. as far as the 4k rev limit mine will rev to 5600

Might have something to do with the power pup removing the rev limiter.

I replaced PCV valve and milky stuff went away on mine however, short trips all the time arent good and dont let you get rid of the condensation that builds up. If you use a superior motor oil and filter youll be more then fine, alot of dodge owners have this problem. No, it is not sludge! Good luck
