Default Mileage Tips?

Got any tips for mileage? I keep my tires at 35lbs, drive the speed limit (usually), and the best ive been able to get on the highway is about 19.5mpg, used to be able to get at least 20

That's really good really.

It could be just the gas you are using, try and find the best gas that works the best in your truck. Exxon works the best for mine.

1/2 mpg it could be just cleaning the air filter.

I think the biggest mpg factor is our right foot! I know when I stay off of the accelerator my truck does better. I love fast acceleration but I pay the price when the gas needle swings toward the "E". Other than that the mods you have listed seem to be the norm. I am still waiting for my underdrive pulley. I think that will help some.

well, i have pretty light foot, and i just put a new air filter in not too long ago, but the best ive ever gotten is 22.6, and ive hit 21 a few times also, just wondered if I was missing anything. I might try some fuel injector cleaner, been a long time since Ive put any of that in

Is this before or after you added the 'Dodge 20s, Hood Scoop, Pep-Boys Diamond Plate Tool Box'? The 20s alone will do it and the extra weight of the tool box doesn't help. How many miles you got on it? Plugs might be wearing down.

ive had all the goodies on there since a few months after I bought it, and the toolbox shouldnt affect it any, only thing i have in it is jumper cables, a few targets and fishing poles, and its the 100 dollar one, so it only wieghs like 10 pounds anyway

I am about to roll over 33k miles
