Default this is strange...

I went 4x4, not the average off road stuff, but deep into twisty trails, over rocks and across creak beds.

All my driving was in 4 low in 2nd gear, I was not in a hurry and I never lost traction.

Once I was back on pavement, and back in 2 WD, I walked arround my truck and was surprised to see what appears to be white wheal bearing grease on the lower drivers side door, thier was not a lot of it, but enough to leave a qustion of where did it come from.

I pulled off the left front wheal, no grease vissable any where on the rim or front hub.

Thier are not leaks any where on the front axle, 4x4 works fine.

My truck is a 06 2500 Ram hemi 6sp

You sure it wasn't just something you kicked up from the trail? Someone else might have left some grease on the trail from a broken component and you could have kicked it up.
