Default New RAM owner

Just picked this up yesterday. Its an 08 QC 1500 Lone Star Ed. Wondering what I can do with it. Would like to add CAI and dual exhaust. What else can be done? Chips? Tuners? I have an 06 Mustang GT thats beefed up but have never modded a truck and I need some advice as to exhaust and intakes/tuners/chips. Would like some advice from you guys or at least some info to read up on.

Thanks

Rich

Nice looking truck.. buy mangaflow muffler.. it is popular choice with MDS engine.

I recommend aFe cai, dont have to reoil the filter. all u do is wash it.
Magnaflow as stated earlier, it is very good sounding and gives more performance.

good looking truck. You really can't go wrong with an after market CAI. I have an airaid and love it. Depending on if you like loud, dont mind drone, and various other things will determine the muffler. You could get headers, cam, highflow cats, programmer, 4.56 gears, supercharger, the list goes on and on...

Sweet truck! Go with magnaflow for your exhaust. As for the cai goes, it's up to you, they all do about the same thing.

Thanks, quick question for ya "lxman1", are your wheels true chrome or covers. Its the only thing I just "glanced" at when buying the truck (was looking for road rash). I washed it today and was stunned that they are plastic covers and not true chrome wheels.... and the fact that one of the wind deflectors on a rear door window is missing, need to call the dealership on that, hopefully they will replace it.

Also thanks to everyone else, all I want is a CAI and dual exhaust, so it looks like Magnaflows are a good choice then. Also, will the exhaust need an "H" or "X" pipe or with the trucks is it better to go true duals?

most people do the stock y to the new exhaust bolt on. But if you wanna get more power just replace that stock y pipe. It is REALLY restrictive.
