Exiting in front of the rear tire???
Ford did this to their 1997 F-150 but they changed for 1998MY. Ford had May complaints from customers that the rear right wheel was becoming discolored due to the exhaust. They endded up replacing the exhuast pipe to exited rear of the tire if you took it back to the dealership.
I guess the cost savings of shorting the exhaust pipe, cost them more in the long run.
