If you really don't go off road then just reg all seaon hwy tires will do. Or a mild all terrian tire like the Firestone AT.

Mud tires will wear pretty fast on the HWY and your gas mileage will suffer so it's not good either way.

The best priced/longest lasting tire for me is the BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A. Sam's club has a good price on them.

Have you looked at the Cooper Zeon LTZs? I have been very happy with them so far. They also look fantastic!

Just got some Cooper Discoverer S/T's on my 03 Ram at work. I've had them a week and have been quite impressed. Aggressive tread, minimal road noise, good grip.

Downside==$215 a piece

it comes down to what you want.... looks or longevity. I have already ordered my tires(not telling cause its gonna be a surprise!) on looks and offroad performance. If you dont go off road any than just get a good all around tire. I would say BFG A/t in atleast 285. Kinda good looking but good noise/wear ratio. I have them on my truck right now, they are 265s(came with the truck) but i will tell you how they do in the mud here in about a week! You will be able to see in my sig!

I just installed Cooper Zeon LTZ's from tire rack. They were $168 a piece shipped. Great tire. They look awesome. Very quiet and hold the turns better than most tires in their class. They have a mild rim protector and stiff sidewalls. They ride very nice for how stiff the sidewalls are and like I said, virtually no noise. No snow yet or mud, but they bite the wet and dry grund great. For the price, they are unbeatable IMO.

I just purchased cooper zeon ltz two weeks ago. Got them at discounttire.com for 166 and free shipping. They just raised the price last week though. I did notice that they are not as quiet as my oe good years (20s). I got to test the tires out last week in the snow. This is my first truck, but i think the tires held the road very well. If anyone is from upstate you know about the snow we got. Will post again when i get more miles on them.
