i've got factory installed sirius satellite (spelling?) radio in my 08 ram. i can't seem to find out how display the artist and song information on digital display, it just gives me the station number, but nothing else. i looking in the owners manual, but no help. does it even have this feature? help.

 

My 05 is the same way, If its anything like mine it won't. It will show the FM radio artist and song on stations that broadcast that information. All sirius will show is the station name.

 

I can not figure out how to do that on mine either....my cheap little sirius add on unit that I have in my neon will do it, but the fancy built in unit for my truck will not. They really missed the target there on that one.

 

Same here, my 08 ram has no info but my 07 caravan does.

 

Depending on your radio, it might not display anything. Mine doesn't. If you have the one with the AUX IN in the lower left corner, it doesn't display anything other than the station number and preset (if any). It's one of the things that annoys me about the radio.

 

Y'all need a 6 Disc in dash player with rds It comes with a info button that displays everything ya need to know hope it helps

You radio has to have RDS on it. I think most of the rams only come with the plain radio, I purchased a 6 CD on ebay with RDS for 80 bucks. Took it to dodge to put in for $40 bucks and it all worked fine didn't have to setup sirius again or anything. Thanks.

 

Yep, the single disc with MP3 plug in the front will not display info. That is radio code REF
Mine is now a RAQ as shown in this picture from before I redid my radar detector power wire.
I bought a used one on Ebay that does. PM me for the seller if interested. It just plugged right in and worked.

 

For those of us that have the info--What is BS is that you can't have it show station info and artist info on same screen. I know its def big enough

 

I don't know, my 07 Grand Caravan shows the clock and the artist/song title scrolls along side of it and it is a much smaller screen.
