Default What fog lights.

i just bought a new 08 dodge ram 1500. I was wondering what kind of fog lights would work with it. I want some and don't know what ones to get.

Go for the factory ones. I have them and they work pretty well. From what I hear they are pretty easy to install (mine came with them).

Get the factory ones. Check to make sure you have the foglight pigtail behind the front bumper on the drivers side. Most likely you will have it which case get the factory foglight kit part number 82209047. I picked up mine on ebay for $112.

The stock fogs will be easiest because the wiring harness is most likely already there. You just have to replace the light switch in the car. The kit comes with a replacement. Also, the mounting brackets would be really tough to replicate on your own. The way the lights mount is messed up!!

I did find a place that sells just the lights and a wiring harness but does not use the factory light switch for about $80. Let me know if you want the link.

a blast from the past! I'm just wondering what the harness looks like that hangs down begond the driver's fender? I saw something down there that is black with a white inner coupling and a red part just above that. Is that the foglight harness?
