well, one thingthat i can tell you: if the problem is coming, then going, then coming back later, it ain't the tires.

if its intermittent, not goin to be your tires. lower ball joints, tie rod ends, steering damper, wheel bearing/hub(slim,almost no chance), worn control arm bushings, power steering rack/box not sure if its a 1500 or 2500. when does it shake, on acceleration, crusing, decel(not on the brakes), on the brakes? need some more info.
road force balancing is not some magical voodoo that some shops claim it is. its still tire balancing just with a more accurate machine.
is it just the wheel "sawing" left to right or the truck/front end shaking, death wobble kinda thing?
if it was your tires a quick swap from front to rear would rule that out fast, sorry no voodoo machine needed.

unless someone has a cool new machine that can balance your entire rotating assembly, including axle's/u joints and bearings/hubs and wheel & tires as a single rotating mass, any promises they make about fixing/reducing other vehicle induced vibration is total bs. ive heard of too many people bein fed tremendous bs and spending way to much money due to greedy shops pushin for this as a cure all. and when it doesnt perform as promised they just try to bs their way out...rant over, sorry my bad.

actually, it could be the tires...i had a set of tires that a belt was separating or something in....I drove about 32 miles each way to work, and the problem wouldn't show up until the tires had warmed up, about 15-20 miles into the commute. I would get this crazy thump thump thump thump and could feel the vibration from it throughout my truck. I only noticed it on the highway because that was the only time I was spinning the tires fast enough to cause the problem.

It happens right at 55/60 mph and up its the whole front end shaking and it comes through the steering wheel like no other. It does it all the time at those speeds, and the truck is a 2007 1500 4x4

Yeah, I had a bad tire...once they replaced it (under warranty of course... ) the problem went away. does the problem always come from the front? have you had the tires rotated to see if the problem follows a tire?

Yup, that's a good idea to rotate the tires and see. Also something to consider, you said you had the issue before but it's worse now. Remember, larger tires and more weight will increase the feel of any issues. It's entirely possible the new tires just multiplied a front end issue you already had...

if you've got the time & tools, first check tire pressure at all 4 corners then swap front to rears. anything odd you forgot to mention, like you took it wheelin last weekend, or did u or the mrs. hit a curb, etc...
it seems to be gettin worse correct?
jack it up on one side put a long and heavy pry bar under tire and see if you have any movement up/down or excess side to side (compare left to right.) take a peek at your outerjoints/boots.

Well if I remember correctly it all started when I went four wheeling about 4/5 months ago but it didnt really dawn on me until now thats when it all started it was a pretty big hole that came up past the front tag because it broke it off.
