got them Coopers
got the Cooper Zeon LTZs put in Friday, 275/60-20. even pulling out of the driveway at the tire shop, could tell an immediate difference. Man, unbelievable the difference between those crap HPs and the Coopers.
heading north tomorrow to hancock, mi. Should be plenty of snow there. I'll let you know how they do, but so far I think they'll be great.

Well, I guess that did in the plan on switching to 17s. They are a good tire, especially for someone like you who needs great road handling and good grip in the rain/snow, who does not go off pavement.
Drive safe to and from the great white north. Let us know when you get back...
BTW: I'm in Florida for a while now (although I might make a long weekend type hop up to the farm before huntin' season ends). Cold front expected tonight with lows in the 50s, only supposed to get into the low/mid 70s the next couple of days. I didn't want you to think I was basking while you were heading to the frozen tundra...

Ehhhh, any tire will be bad in 2wd regardless. I put my truck in 2wd on a side road and you just cannot compare how the tires do once you have driven in 4wd with them. They do great in 4wd. I even have 200lbs in my bed and could easily spin the truck around in 2wd. I had to immediately slow down from 50mph in a 45 right down to 30-35 in 2wd mode because the truck was sliding a bit more. Even then, I didn't feel as safe as in 4wd going 50.
