1-2 2-3 shiftpoints (superchips)

I max them out because I get the best performance out of my truck with them set at max. I have tried different shift options on the Superchip and maxed out is by far the best.

naw its not best to shift right below redline. when driving a manual do you redline it and then shift? i know i dont on my nova or bike. i usually shift at like 3-3500, or will let it go a little higher if racing. once you get up towards redline theres less torque and power. thats why my truck shifts at 5 something (when flooring it) and it would be nice if it would shift a little sooner

If you don't have any heads/cam work done on the truck, I wouldn't do anything with the shift points.
From the factory, your shifts points are set up to match the heads/cam that you got. If you increase these and run WOT often, you take a huge gamble on blowing your engine up.
The shift points on the tuner are adjustable for those that spend the money and get a heads/cam package upgrade that will allow higher rpm shifts and running.

According to Superchips, the features of the 3815 are actually optimized for trucks that are stock or have a few common bolt-ons like exhaust and cai. That means that shift point adjustability is also intended for these lightly modded or stock trucks. If shift point adjustment was only intended for trucks with modified internals I believe they would allow higher shift points than the 3815 currently allows. Also, Superchips makes very sure to not allow adjustment of parameters outside of the safe operating range for a stock vehicle.
