has anyone had problems getting their tuner to connect to their computer and to the internet for updates?

I did once when the cable got pulled out during the middle of an update and I couldn't get it to reconnect. A call to customer support straightened it out for me.

The best way to set shift points is to get on a Dyno and see where the graph starts to fall. You would then set your shift points based off of that. Redline isn't a power gauge, but more of an explosion gauge...lol

Just because a vehicle redlines at 6k doesn't mean it make power up to that. It could only have power up until 5k and drop off after that.

I just checked DiabloSport's setting for shift points. Here ya go:
Shift Points
Raise shift points by a predefined setting, 5.7L's (1-2 5800rpm, 2-3 6000rpm, 3-4 6000rpm), 6.1L's (1-2 6400rpm, 2-3 6400rpm, 3-4 6400rpm).(N/A on Jeep)

6.1L has better valve springs and a cam that has a higher rpm range.
