Yes. There's always going to be a better deal and a nicer truck out there, but this is exactly what i wanted. I don't need anything more.
You know, that really sums it up for me too. The only thing I would have changed about my truck is either going with the 2500 and getting the SFA, or going to an '06 and getting the coil-over suspension.

But in reality, I got a REALLY nice truck and a REALLY nice price, so I got a heck of a deal and I have a heck of a truck. I can't complain one way or the other. And yes, I would buy this RAM again in a heartbeat. I love the clean lines of the interior, the material doesn't look cheap, and the Hemi is freakin' awesome!!

I notice a lot of you want a 2500 why? I have no idea unless you really need it for towing I haul a double axle trailer all summer with a 1500 and not a single problem. I always wanted a truck and i love the body style of my 04 the most and no problems with an IFA front end here as far as other trucks none look as good or perform as well as the hemi so zero complaints here just one happy dodge owner and for those that wanted something else why didnt you get it its your money and you should have bought what you want with it you work hard for it so get what you want

I love my truck that I have now and I got it for over 13k off msrp, My payment is already over 600 a month, but I would still love to own a 2500 mega cab Laramie diesel, but i would hate to pay that bill every month.

Something else.

I should have learned my lesson when I purchased my 02' chrysler 300m. The truck just has dump problems it shouldn't have. Like yesterday, when I went to pass someone, as soon as I got next to them the truck hits a revlimter at around 4k. I also noticed the cruise control wouldnt work. I pulled over and checked for codes...there were none. Restarted the truck, everything was fine..

Reading about all of the things that happen on here like control arms breaking and steering racks going out on trucks with less than 50k and only a few years old. This will be my last 5 star.

RidinHigh, to answer your question, I didn't realize that the '06's came with coil-over, that's why I bought the '05. Plus, there weren't any 2500's for sale around here...no one is getting rid of them. On another note, going up to the '06 would have cost about $3000 more, probably because of the improved suspension and MDS. I ain't gonna lie, when I saw this truck for sale on the internet, I nearly fell out of my seat. It was such a sweet deal, I called them up and went there that weekend. I even was late to my own father's day cookout because I was at the dealer signing the paperwork!

If you want you can send me the extra 8 grand for a heavy duty. thats what it comes down to is money my friend. i would have bought that 2500 i had the chance to buy thrown a plow on it already and would be making alot of dough now. and i will be towing alot in a year or two. just listen to what everyone is saying, the heavy dutys are alot more money because there is so much more beefed up equipment on them. but i think in a year or two ill be in the market for a 3500 ctd or hemi mason dump, and then use the 1500 for a tool hauler.

First off I love my truck. I LOVE the Mega Cab. If I was doing it again I would have geared down from the get go. Its OK on the road but 4.10 would have been better.

I wished I would have bought another CTD instead of trying the Hemi. The Hemi is okay, but is not a CTD.

I love my truck a lot, but if i were to do it over again, i would have bought a SRT-10 instead. Save me all the hassel of changing body parts.
