I would just get an aftermarket unit if you are spending the money on something.

I already did that and edited my post

I have this. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...VIC-F90BT.html

The SD card reader sold me. I have 80 full length CD's on my 8gb SD card. It slides right into the face. he SD card was only $20 compared to using an Ipod with all the necesary bullsh*t. It has a connection for those as well and the screen acts like a giant Ipod.

I have read they are low speed, but I can't say for sure.

I'm not exactly sure but I think the new 07 Rams have the 125k CAN-I bus while the others have the 83.3k

this is a list I found on another forum about which cars have the LOW SPEED bus:

2007:

Chrysler Sebring

2008:

Chrysler 300 (all)
Chrysler Aspen
Chrysler Sebring
Dodge Avenger
Dodge Challenger
Dodge Charger
Dodge Dakota
Dodge Durango
Dodge Magnum
Jeep Commander
Jeep Grand Cherokee

2009:

Chrysler 300 (all)
Chrysler Aspen
Chrysler Sebring
Dodge Avenger
Dodge Caliber
Dodge Challenger
Dodge Charger
Dodge Dakota
Dodge Durango
Dodge Magnum
Dodge RAM 1500
(except Mega Cab)
Jeep Commander
Jeep Compass
Jeep Grand Cherokeep
Jeep Patriot

Can you hook that mygig system in the new rams to an older model like my 05'? Or can anyone reccomend a system that will do basically everything that that one can do that will work?
