Nope. Just tired of people assuming all Imports are slow as hell. It's all good though. The way domestic companys are going, we won't have to worry about them much anymore.

My truck had a $48,000 sticker price and we ended up getting it for $36,000. Close to $40,000. After additional add-ons to it, it came out to $41,000. So, my truck was a $41,000 truck. I see where he's coming from. You guys have probably purchased $20-30,000 trucks and are whining that there's no such thing as a $40,000 gasser. Sorry gentlemen, but there is.

I wouldn't cut my pipes like that either. I think it's dumb as well. Not only on a $40,000 but also on a $30,000 and $20,000 truck as well. If I wanted sound, I'd swap the muffler out. But I'm not into the whole exhaust sound anyways. I'd rather have my subwoofers do the talking. To each his own.

even ferraris are barely loud and they go 0-60 in under 4.

to each his own. but loud exhaust is stupid unless your racing, a motorcycle (loud pipes save lives), or a quick car or truck and by quick i mean under 12 in the 1/4 mile, or puttin out plenty of hp

You are right, exhaust is and always will be a "to each his own" type of subject. For instance, I am running a Super 44 as my quiet setup because to me it is quiet. Some would disagree but it is all a matter of opinion.

At the same time you can't say to each his own and then follow it up by calling a loud exhaust stupid. You are contradicting yourself by saying to each his own and then judging other people's exhaust likes and dislikes.

yea i can (not trying to start $h!t here at all, cuz i know you have good stuff in all the threads i read), but to each his own means we all have our opinions. i think its stupid unless your fast. i have loud pipes on my bike because 1) its fast as hell and 2) cars can here me and realise I'm there. my nova is also loud because its also fast as hell and its a 71 so i have no emissions regulations. hooker headers running into a summit exhaust w/ summit turbo mufflers and dumped right after the muffler. i had flowmaster 50 series on my truck that was nice, but that truck was totalled. i hate driving through my neighborhood and waking up all the neighbors.

if i saw your truck and then it rumbled, sure i would grin, but as long as its not stupid loud like straight pipe or glass packs, id say your fine, which I'm sure your exhaust is just gracing the line

I do feel the same way about waking the neighbors. I always close the cutout and go light on the gas when I get into the neighborhood at night. There is a point when loud gets to be too much.

I think my exhaust would get a grin

I would be more worried about being homeless when the apt. landlord kicks you out for disturbing all of the other tenants!!

That's just inconsiderate. If you lived in the bonnies with no close neighbors, it would be ok.

I'm not bashing you, it's just the facts. You're gonna have alot of ticked off neighbors.

I personally like the sound of a Magnaflow muffler over an open pipe. But I can't afford the upgrade right now, so I am keeping the stock muffler and resonator for now.
