i was being sarcastic DD... just pointing out i wouldnt let anything stop me from checking out my truck especially if i had a BIG THUD as described.
i live in MA so i know how to deal with snow/ice haha.......

 

Well ya know, not too many peoplee that I have come across would let their vehicle run for a while to completely clear it off. I do that when I wash my truck or car when it's super cold out so that nothing freezes internally and causes problems.

 

no i wouldnt do it either but if thats what i had to do to get a frozen hood open to check for problems than i would.

so have you foudn this problem yet. im curious here wondering if you do in fact have a broken motor mount on an 06 already

the last time i got the ice off , it all fell off at the airport entrance...looked like my car was falling apart to the 50+ people standing there.lol sure got some strange looks

 

so what wasthe big thud? did you ever look or figure it out?
