the site doesnt specificaly say that your windows can be tinted at whatever percent you want even if you have dual mirrors. Just says any tint requires dual mirrors. I didn't read colorados law but after reading Va's law it states that tint can be whatever as long as there are dual mirrors.

 

here in CT driver side and passenger side window cannot go lower that 35% tint, if there are four doors or more, the windows can be whatever tint you want behind the driver and passenger side windows. Windshield cannot be touched and you can have whatever % you want on the back (limo tint, or 0%)

 

you can stare at the sun through my back glass and it looks like a dim flashlight. can't see in at all, unless the interior lights are on at night, even then you gotta be close to see in at all. don't know the %, my wife had it done for my birthday, and had her sis's boyfriend(a cop) take it in, so she got it done for a bill. yeah she had to brag about how cheap it was, even though it was a gift lol.

i know here in tx we can paint our back three windows black if we want, i know there is a % on the front two and can put an eyebrow strip on the windshield but it can't be over 4" wide, i think?

 

Its a little upsetting that you guys are labeling ALL cops as assh**es and window tint ****'s! I am a cop, I have a Ram WITH tinted windows and focus my attention on REAL crime, not chickensh*t. While I agree that A LOT of us are di*ks, grouping us all together is like saying that all car salesmen are thieves, all contractors are con-men, and guys that drive jacked up trucks are welfare Rednecks with no teeth, jobs or women...its not fair.

 

im a contractor, and sure as hell not a con man. if anything i come lower than most guys. but as for tint and police, the only time they really care is when your looking like a drug dealer or your car is blacked out. most cops dont care about tinted trucks.

 

I wouldnt label all cops as ********. I understand that Police Officers are a must in any civilized society. I do respect the position and the authority that it carries. The badge doesnt mean **** if your a jackass. Police officers are public servants paid buy the tax payers. The trend now is to hire young men and women as officers because they have served in the military. Your tour in Iraq or Afgahnistan should not be your ticket to policing our cities. Many of these ******** have serious issues and no experience in dealing with civilian citizens in our own country. Use your authority as it is intended and do not abuse the power given you by these same civilians that pay your ****in wages. Extensive screening should be done to weed out the RAMBO *********. If COPS cannot respect you as a human being then dont expect to be respected in your position. Use discretion ! For the most part my experiences with cops have been as pleasant as can be expected but dont think you can talk to or treat people like second class citizens because you where a badge.

Personally I don't see it happening in the near future because of the terrible economy and It's too much regulation. Also, they would have to limit it on newer years for those that have already had tint applied to older cars

after reading that article i think thats completely legit. thats why my friend told me to roll down my windows when being pulled over so the officer can see everything and know theres no threat. also the reason i put my hands up when being pulled over on a bike so the officer knows im not reaching for anything.
