do it yourself and youll save alot of money. the tie-rod ends shouldnt be more than $40-$50 and are fairly easy to replace. the bearings are around $20-$30 for the kit with bearing and seal and are a little more difficult but still not terribly hard. as long as you have the right tools i would say do it yourself.

50K no warranty. I could probably do it myself, just never done it, so I didn't know how involved it really is.

If you have the 06 4 X 4, the wheel bearings are part of the rotor and the whole unit will need replacing. I don't know the cost, but they are not real cheap. I just had the outer tie rod ends done on mine and it cost 40 bucks a piece + labor to have them installed and then the front end alignment.

I just had a tie rod replaced at 4wheelparts for $0 since they didn't notice it when I had an alignment done the first time. They had a new take off from an '08, so they just put it on for free.
