2nd time now the truck stoped running

Default 2nd time now the truck stoped running

When i got out to get mail...do these have a deadman switch?

??? is it a 5spd? auto? 1500-2500? hemi 4.7? did it stutter be4 shutting off or just compeltely died...details!!!

What is the deadman switch? I've never actually heard of that before or exactly what it is. I have some idea what it is, but don't know for sure. Also, some details might help a little bit, or just be nice to know.

He can throw some good one-liners once in a while so I thought I would be a smart a$$. I think he would get out of his truck to get mail and his truck would kill, kinda like getting off the mower...if I'm wrong I feel stupid but that is what I came up with from the post. :P

By chance did you have to take your key out to collect your mail? lol
They shouldn't have any switch like that, like what mowers have on them. I could see it if the truck was still in gear, but not if it were in park. And still that would be hard to imagine. Well, I don't know much about any problems with that, so I don't know what to tell you.

ive had my truck in reverse with the E-brake on and didint shut off or anything...again, it just dies out, no stuttering??
