Firestone Destination A/T will be my next ones. Had these on my previous chevy and I loved them. Quiet and never once had any slippage issues in snow or ice, at least not like these bfgs. Can't wait for these god forsaken BFG a/ts wear out. Gotta be the worst tire I've ever owned.

I ran the Long Trail T/A's on my F150 and they did great in all weather. Never had any problems in the snow. Sam's club has a good price on them.

I pulled off the HP's before I even drove the truck in the rain because of the terrible reviews they recieved.
I replaced them with the Cooper LTZ's and for the money, you cannot go wrong. Discounttiredirect.com and they run $170 a piece shipped. I have used them in a few snow storms and they do really well. Rain isn't even noticed with these tires and they have no road noise at all. They are a little bit rougher, but they handle so much better and are less prone to blow outs and punctures because they are Extra Load rated vs the thin street rubber of the stock HP's.

I think I am going to run my stock tires until they wear out. I have 1,700 miles on them right now so hopefully it will be a little while.
I have also notice the trouble that they have in snow, but at that point I kick it into 4wd.

I don’t know why everyone says the stock HP’s are so horrible. Don’t get me wrong, they are far from the best tire in the world, but I think for what they are, an all season highway tire, the Wrangler HP’s are not that bad. I have 29000mi. on my tires and I’ve had no major issues, and I still have a decent amount of tread left. The only problem I have with them in the rain is when I have to start going up a hill from a dead stop. But that’s not a big problem because I usually put the 4wd into auto when it rains. And in the snow and ice, pretty much the only problem I have is the same as in the rain. And except for a few situations, I can usually get around in the rain and snow in 2wd with no problems. That being said, when I have to get new tires, I’m not going to get another set of HP’s. I would like a tire with a little more of an aggressive tread. I was looking at either the Cooper Zeon’s or Goodyear SilentArmor since I have both a Cooper and a Goodyear dealer where I live, and I’ve heard pretty good things about both tires.

First thing I got rid of when I bought the truck. The stock tires are alright as a "unitl I can get something better tire" but I wouldnt keep them on for very long.
