Default Tow hooks

So when I took off my plastic cover from my recent hit and run, I saw on both sides of the bumper flat spot coming off of the frame, with 4 holes in them. Can i just guy the "M" shaped hooks and bolt them on? Personally, i think that the "M" shaped ones remind me of the Mopar logo and they look way better than the other design. Hope they can just bolt right on.
The hooks like this:

where could one buy such hooks, i havnt seen them around.
and the worst that could happen if you got some is maybe youd have to drill a hole or 2. i would think........
they look cool though i want some.

hell, if they don't bolt right up, I wouldn't drill any more holes, just weld the sob's on and be done with it...

would be nice to have a welder or have the skilz to weld. ive always wanted to learn, but the funding to buy one or take classes never presented itself. i guess you could always take it to a shop to have it welded but .... i like the feeling i get when i do somthing myself without having to take my truck to some stranger. unless its like a gear swap or somthing.
its not like you'd see the extra hole anyway.

either way your right hammer. plus it would be alot stronger if it were welded. im just hard headed.

Lol true. I just got the pics off of auto truck toys. they are selling them on there, and on ebay of course. I was just wondering if anyone knew if they would bolt right on. If i knew how to weld, that'd be the best!

Honestly, if you could scrape up about $350 bucks for a decent quality 110v MIG welder, you could teach yourself to weld perfectly good, strong welds in all but very thick steel in about a day of practicing on scrap steel! I learned with a 220v stick when I was like 14 because my father had a small awning & canopy business. MIG WELDING IS LIKE CHEATING! Seriously, if you can solder, you can MIG weld! And you'd be amazed at all the little repair jobs you can get done... I can Stick (Arc), Gas & Mig weld and have all three. Unless I'm where I can't get power to where I have to fix something or I'm brazing aluminum, I always go to the Mig welder.
Although if any of you guys here can TIG, I've always wanted to learn (that's a hint)...
