I think it would look good on a black truck. Fleisch's seem to look like NightShades. Don't buy the LUND covers though. I had those for 2 weeks. One blew off somewhere one day..

what do you guys think about this. I looked around and went to a few different shops that does window tinting. I found out right now that my truck has legal front which is around 35% and the back is factory with maybe a light tint. They said they can tint all my windows for around $125 meaning that they will tint over the existing tint which I think the dealer put on to help sell the truck. I know that Im going to do the back for sure because it is not dark at all (they said $50 for just that window) but im not sure about the side windows. If they put a 35% tint over the existing 35%, they said it will make it 20%. what are your thoughts on this.

i also have another question. i want to tint my taillights with VHT nite shades but im wondering if i could just leave them on the truck while spraying them. I could cover the area around the truck. Any problems that could arise with this?

Actually looks like you have 70% tint, not 35%. Regardless, if you want darker, I wouldn't tint over tint. I would remove what you have and re-tint. It won't come out the same if you just go right over the old. Also, The DPS carry meters especially around the Border. Just make sure you can get an inspection with darker windows.

I would take the tails off for the vht. It's very easy. 5 minutes or less. Just clean them and lightly sand them or use a Scotchbrite pad and clean again. Use light coats!

i dont know. i took it to 3 different tint shops and all of them said it was 35%. legal is like 25% here. they said it would be fine if i tinted over it because the current tint is in perfect shape.
