Sucks because im not getting any codes... Nothing at all...
Yeah, then the Dealership will say nothing is wrong with it..lol
They can probably re-install the ecu programming. That may be all you need?? They will do a scan for codes, do a running diagnosis while on the lift and then reprogram your ecu and check again.
drive by wire accelerator pedal fault is sorta what it sounds like to me. So it faults out trips up the computer which puts the truck into limp mode untill the condition is resolved. This has happened to me with the only exception being that it was a diesel truck that had the throttle fault.
Yeah, then the Dealership will say nothing is wrong with it..lol
Can't understand how dealers say that there is nothing wrong just because there is no code even when it is obvious something is very wrong. That one always puzzled me.

codes=quick solve technique
Problem solving outside the box= very costly. Unwanted
Warranty=low paid times quotes which don't even count initial time forth for diagnosis. Therefore, you get the old routine..."We found nothing wrong"...hehehe

That's what I'm thinking 'dog, but he's getting a code, if he's getting the dread "lightening bolt" it's recorded to the PCM and can be pulled. Hopefully a re-flash will fix, but with the code, he may have luck getting a new PCM under warranty of the flash don't cut it...
