Like Raminator said, they include all of the wiring adaptors, etc. Their prices aren't too bad when you factor all of that in. I bought my first amp from them back in 1988! LOL
i guess the 6-1/2" are just for the quad cabs. it said mine has the 5-1/4s

and i don't need an amp to just run the door speakers right?
That should work and crutchfield will send you all the stuff needed for the install, including directions for how to take everything apart. I just got those 6x9's for my truck and they're great aside from the fact that I had to fab a mounting bracket b/c I threw my old one away.

Well b/c it's a quad is why it has 6 1/2's, so those are what you need for the rear.

I had the stock system in mine and decided to change it abit. Without breaking the bank. An AMP is not required. It all depends on what you are looking for. A good head unit will make it sound alot better with new door speakers. To save yourself some money, buy the adapter and install the door speakers yourself or a friend. Just my 2 cents. Good luck in your search for sound....

ok so whos replaced there rear door speakers in there quad cabs?

i am in this same dilemma now. i have a 06 everything calls for a 5.25 speakers but all i am finding from crutchfields are 6.5 and 6.75 they say they'll fit but i am asking to users here what did you actually get and was there any additional fabrication?

there website it that you need to drill new holes to accomidate the larger speakers - how hard is this?

how hard is it to take apart the door panels? any clips or just screws? I have all electric swtiches.

pretty noobticstic on mechanical work
