Default Violent Shaking and wheel torque specs?

Hey guys. Brought my truck into the shop today because my truck shakes at 60+ mph. It stops around 70.

They balanced all the wheels and put them back on with 95 ft-lbs of torque.
1st question: What is the wheel torque specs for a 2006 ram 1500 qc hemi?
I can't seem to find them. Is it the same as the 2005's at 135 ft-lbs?
I thought 95 was low but I'm just trying to get the right number.

Anyways, after I left the shop with newly balanced wheels I took it on the highway. Got up to 60 mph and my truck shakes even more! So I brought it back, they re-checked the wheels and they were fine. So now my truck violently shakes at 60+. Any ideas? Could it be that the wheels are torqued too low and therefore shaking because of that?

Possibly the drive shaft out of balance? I had the same symptoms in my wrangler, and my weight fell off my driveshaft.

yea could be a driveshaft too. my whole truck was vibrating cause a belt let go in my rear passenger tire, once i got up to 60mph the truck vibrated soo loud.

Since I'm under warranty I'm gonna bring it somewhere and let them have fun scratching their heads. It's insane how many things it could be.

It's a really bad vibration though all over the entire truck. I'm just amazed it got worse AFTER I balanced the wheels.

hey im a diesel mechanic and from what ive seend it could be a wheel bearing, your alignment, or driveline vibration. check for loose u joints, or loose inputs going into your axle and transmission from the driveshaft. if its 4 wheel drive you can check the front driveshaft going from the transfer case to the transmission.

They might have incorrectly balanced the wheels if it started after the balancing. Have them check them on a different machine.

I'm thinking about bringing it somewhere else because they actually checked them twice. Their machine might be wrong.

my boss said once, just because someone has an alignment machine doesnt mean they know how to truly use it, hes right and the same could be for a balancing machine
