I would only say I added hp unless it was documented by a Dyno run. It is possible to add slight hp, but 14 hp from adding a K & N seems high to me. Does anyone have dyno runs with K & N's before and after please chime in.

It is high. With all my mods and a spectre intake I dyno'd 9.7 hp over the oem intake, and the spectre places the filter closer to headlight than the k&n. On a quarter mile run that would probably knockoff .1 -.3 seconds.

Well this was on my 74 charger and i went from a 6 inch round filter some pretty much no name brand and then put on a 14inch K&N and got 14 more hp at the crank.

ya...i mean.....just to let yall know....CAIs dont accually add any horsepower. it would be about the same gain as driving on a cold day. what they do is get rid of the resenator therefore making it alot louder when your sucking in more air like at around 3500 rpm. but that is enough for me to get one!! ...o and by the way the 4.7 in a reg cab is only 3thenths slower than a hemi in the quad cab! and more realiable!!
