Question Will 09 Ram mirrors fit on my 07?

Does anyone know if the 09 Ram 1500 power mirrors with the turn signals in them will fit my 07 1500 and function properly?

I'd go to a dealer and check out a truck that has them to compare to yours. You will have to run wires up to the mirrors for the turn signals though, since none of the 3rd generation have them.

That would be too easy. I'd bet the mounting parameters are different. There would be the wiring difference, as well.

I was told that the mopar towing mirrors (that look like the ford super duty mirrors) have blinkers in them and they work off the harness that is already in the truck. Just plug in, no wiring required

The '09 1500 mirrors are different than '08 and earlier. mxrevman's mirrors off his '09 HD will fit though.

That might be true on the 09's, but I have the towing mirrors on my 08 and they don't have blinkers in them. Since none of the 3rd Gen trucks have blinkers in the mirrors, I doubt they would have put the wires up into the door. I could be wrong, but it makes no sense for them to waste the time wiring something that would never exist.

I'd give it a shot. Have you seen the new trailer tow mirrors for them? They look kinda goofy. They are the same style, but don't flip up. They pull out instead.
