HID problem....

ya so i bought the relay and it didnt work... i did a little more research and you need the warning code eliminater. theres a problem wen u install the hids becuase they draw more power than the standard headlights so when you go to turn on the lights they flash. they only flash because by the time the light gets as bright as it does in the flash, its at the exact amout of power required for the standard headlights and giving the headlights anymore power makes the computer think a light bulb is out, so therefore they turn off. thats why you get the headlamp out light to appear. so fyi no relay... just the warning code eliminater.... heres the link...

You need a quality and proven reliable kit.
Our Dodges have issues litterally from year to year, with the trucks computers.
Then there's the problem with DRL's.
I have a HID 6000K hi and lo with fogs kit, here in the UK on my 03 Hemi.
EVERYTHING works 100% without the dreaded "lamp out" error messaage.
The lights are awesome but the main thing is, I bought them from a guy who gives excellent customer service.
I emailed him what I wanted and between the two of us, I got a system that was a quality piece of kit.
I have no affiliations with him as I live in the UK and no business contacts at all etc.
He has however, turned out to be an excellent and friendly supplier and from what I've seen on the other forum boards, more than willing to help out.
If anyone wants a contact e-mail, please PM me.
He's also willing to try to sort out other peoples defective kits.
Hope this all helps?
