The loudest would be to not have one at all; but i'd probably say a cherry bomb.

I have an exhaust cutout, and at idle, it's actually not as loud as you would think, but it has a nice deep rumble. But around 1500-2000 rpm, it starts to get pretty loud. And over 3500-4000 rpm, it sounds like a stock car.

Agree X100.

Electric cutout is the way to go.

The loudest exhaust, would be an electric cutout.

The loudest muffler would be a Cherry Bomb Extreme, makes a Flowmaster 40 sound like a muffler for grandma's car...

I have been waiting to install my Cherry Bomb Extreme 3" in/out and a new magnaflow Y pipe after the cats. I wanted it because it is at least a contender in the very loudest of mufflers. So there should be no doubt as to how loud it is, but I can tell you once I get it installed which is probably next week.

Separate issue on the install. Shop owner told me he could do whatever I wanted, come to the shop on the install date and entire shop is looking at my truck saying how the hell can we do this.

Basically they had no pipe bender, no stock piping or anything, just a welder. Just don't understand why the guy said he could do it after I spoke to him at length about what I wanted out of it.

Very true. I have the e-cutout too and it is just a deep rumble at idle. But get the rpm's up and it screams.
