Angry Now I'm Worried

Had my oil changed yesterday and the Mechanic says there is moisture under the filler cap and it may be leading to a major problem such as head gasket....(Is This true) ???

Condensation under the cap is normal, I wouldn't worry about it.

Cool, This mechanic that did my service yesterday was a joke anyways...he had oil all over the truck from the trans and then when he took the engine filter off he had oil on my front pass. side brakes....What a day...it took him 4 and half hour to do the plugs and didn't even get the diffs done.

This "machanic" doesn't know anything about anything. Find a real mechanic, Teach is right, it's condensation. Look at what comes out the bottom end, if you want to know if there is a problem or not...

Its normal. The more short trips you do the more you will notice it. I change my oil every 2 months because I only drive a 2 miles a day and the truck never gets up to operating temp. to burn off that moisture.

man he has no idea what he is doing it took a mechanic to do pretty much the same thing only 5 hours and he was able to service the diffs but those spark plugs do take time and are a pain to switch out

That's not a mechanic, that's a wrench-puller.
