Default Stalls/Bucks at Full Throttle

I've been reading this forum for years and your collective knowledge has been right on the money. I have an '04 1500 Hemi. When I stomp the pedal to the floor, instead of downshifting it stalls like a cutoff or limiter, yet well below 100mph cutout. It normally downshifts 2 gears and takes off like a bat out of hell. Now, when I push it all the way, it just cuts out and if held there, starts to buck. If I back off, it pulls normally thru 90% of powerband, but stalls out again when I push it to the floor. Anybody else seen this? Just started happening all of a sudden ... and everytime I floor it. Will this produce an error code and if so, how do I get the code? What do I look at first? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Air filter, TB clean or plugs (or all).

Why only at full throttle though? No hesitation or skip as I accelerate, only when I put it to the floor. Air cleaner is new.

TPS sounds reasonable. Wouldn't that scenario make it quit entirely? I've seen bad plugs act up at full throttle. How many miles?

When a TPS is going bad it can have some crazy effects.

Uh, wait, aren't these trucks fly by wire? There might not be a TPS.

Not entirely fly-by-wire. There is still a linkage from the loud pedal to the TB. I believe most all chariots have TPS these days. Maybe not...

There was a thread detailing the method by which the cockpit requested Scotty to send more power from the engine room. Some linkage runs from the pedal to the engine room which is translated as a command for more warp power. If'n I think about it tomorrow night, I'll see if I can find it in the manual.

it's TPS seen it before. Recalibrate it, works about 1/2 the time, if not, you'll have to replace it...
