Bro, those are nothing by paint tinted bulbs. DO NOT pay $60 bux for those. I have two sets from a long time ago that you can have and they have lifetime warranty on them. Yes they look cool because they are blue-ish but they do not put out any more light. You can buy cheap HIDs for $60 BTW. The bulbs I have like those didnt last very long either. One of the headlight bulbs went out and shortly afterwards one of the fogs went out also. You have to send them back to the manufacture with like $7 I think and they will send new ones back to you.

Blue bulbs no HID reduces visibility ouput and does nothing but attract Cops IMO. two each his own. 6k painted bulbs are not going to produce nearly the same color output as HID's. HID's will be almost white with a slight blue hue. The painted cheapo bulbs are going to be solely Blue like lighting up Papa smurf. Luminics is a good brand and i have seen those blue bulbs. It's something I see on RICERS.

Just get some SilverStars. A much brighter, whiter light. The Ultra Silverstars are even better, but they do not have them for the 08 yet. (9008). They do for the driving lights though, and they are really bright!!

ya i got silverstar ultras around christmas and i hate them. they are a little whiter on the road but when u look at the headlights from the outside they look even more yellow than the stock bulbs. and i would do the HID thing but i dont get the cutoff deal with them. my moms landrover came stock with them from the factory and they cut off unless the highbeams are on. so the kits you buy off of ebay have those on them out of the box??

Yeah.... to each his own. A lot of people have complaints about the Silverstars and Siverstar Ultras. They both burn out fast.

Also, don't get those blue bulbs. If anything, consider a HID conversion, or just keep the stock lights.

No they don't. That's the problem a few of us have been stressing about. Stock housings with ANY HID "conversion kit" is not good and will blind on coming traffic. HID retrofit is another story.

Guys, I dont know why you all say that the HIDs are so bright to oncoming traffic? The 06-08 lights have an inset lip that really tames the light, my new lights are not as bright as the silverstars from the front but put out way more light....
I know that theoretically the light would dissipate because we do not have projector lenses, but neither my nor raiderjay's are so "blinding" as you all say? heres a pic....

As you can see, they are not that bright, and I didnt take a front pic because ya'll know how a cell phone does with any light
