This is all true silver. I have an 04, and I have 57000 miles on it. 45000 when I bought it a year ago. man, I put 12000 miles on my truck in one year, dang. well a year and a two months.

 

you think thats funny my 04 is comming up on 30k right at 29k now lol bought it new and in the past 2 years only put on about 800 miles a year.

 

ok i was reading the manual and it says replace the pcv valve as necessary but what is that?

 

Positive crankcase vent valve...on the hemi it's that screw handle looking thing in the intake manifold to the left of the throttle body.

 

Looks like a small gas cap. They can be cleaned, rather than replaced. Brake cleaner and a toothbrush. My '03 will roll up 100K in a month or so.

 

^^^Good idea especially since it's a dealer part and you know how the stealership is. Only frickin dodge would make a pcv valve a dealer part..amazes me.

 

Silver - you are lucky. The Ram I know probably still sitting under 25-30k and its an 06, my balt - poor thing has 43800 on her and Ive had her since 3-23-06 with 9 miles on her. my neighbor has an 06 Single cab Ram... 64k on it...

LOL I bought my ram last July, it had 16k on it... unfortunately work had me driving alot last summer and now I have 29k on it.... Lucky me my new job gave me a work truck so I am set...

 

My 08 already has 11K on it!!!! Got in in May 08.
