I have a 06 w/Hemi, and when my truck was brand new, I was only getting around 10mpg. I’m now getting around 13 mpg, which is what it is rated stock. I only had to get an intake, exhaust and reprogram the computer.

Do you have proof Seafoam does not work? I have had good luck with it.

Auto RX = Good Product, Seafoam= Good Product.

I don't know that one is better than the other. Independent lab reviews often give both products high marks.

However, here is something that you should know. NEITHER product will effectively clean sludge well, if at all, in your engine if used with a full synthetic motor oil. If you dump it in there with a full synthetic, you are wasting your money!!!

I'll try to clean my throttle body if I can. I'd like to get a ported one if I could notice some improvement. I'd also like to change my gears sometime, but it won't be a for a while. The e-fan is also on the list, especially if that will give me a gain like you said.
I have a 3714, but I want to trade that one for a 3815 or 3865, so I'm not messing with that one right now. Also, I'm scared to get any lift on my truck, as I don't think that I can lose many mpgs.

I shoudn't say it doesn't work because any solvent based product would clean...it has naphtha (sp?) and IPA in it which aren't great for seals. There's other products out there that clean just as good without solvents...and slower to prevent sludge/carbon chunks being ripped off and possiblely blocking a oil passage.

Have you noticed any excess drag lately? Maybe you have a stuck caliper or something...just a thought.

I haven't noticed any drag at all, but I'll sure check for a stuck caliper. I'm willing to do most anything to fix it. I like the way my truck looks, but I've already found a truck that I'd trade my Dodge on in an instant.

BTW I tend to get her up to 4000 rpms at least a few times a week lol.
