BTW I tend to get her up to 4000 rpms at least a few times a week lol.

I've never heard of the seafoam or the other product really.
I might have to try that stuff.
And I would like to get my truck up to 5650 rpm a couple times a day. lol

I was just thinking of mileage over the last few days. I've always been a truck person, and I'm used to low mileage, stiff ride, etc.

However... I've also just realized/remembered something:
Both my '76 Chevy K20 with a SB 400 and '76 Ram 4x4 with a 361 got About 10Mpg on the flat I-10 freeway in Arizona. Take off the front driveshaft and get 12Mpg.

My last trip to the coast, highway + city + mountains was 10Mpg while pulling a ~6,500lb trailer. I also get 9-13Mpg in the city depending on if it's all short commute or if I make some longer trips.

I'd love to have 40 or 50Mpg in my truck, but I'm pretty happy with what I've got.

What kind of driving do you do on a daily basis highway and city?

OK, thats why your using up more gas those short stop and go's is why.
I would just try taking your truck out for a good drive on the freeway and do about 70 to clean stuff out every so often.

Other than that I sounds pretty normal.

I average about 16-18. I don't know why mine is high compared to everyone else. Might be because its a RC? I though my overhead was wrong but i set my trip and calculated it out the same.

I didnt read all the messages, so forgive me if I repeat someone. But if your truck idles a lot, it will drop your mpg on the computer. in the summer mine says about 12.5 to 13, but in the winter, I let my truck idle and warm up so much its almost at 8. So you need to take that into consideration also
