I was just giving him a link for the cheapest most reliable place to buy from. I have the Pioneer Avic-f90bt. I love it. Hook up your Ipod and the screen is a giant Ipod. It has an SD Card reader slot right in the front. I have 125 CD's on 1 8gig card. No CD's to deal with or cd changers. I just burn them onto the sd card from my home computer and whala. I paid $699, but SonicElectronix hads them for $649 now. Great buy.
It is a little finicky regarding to freeze ups if you hit buttons before it fully loads. Otherwise, i have the 2.0v update and haven't had any issue's. I like my Garmin more than the Navi on this unit, but it still does the job well.

Ipod. No thanks. I'm Ipod illiterate. i have never used one b4....lol And i like gadgets. Just didn't ever have the need to use portable sound. I have a stereo in my house, garage, car...etc I have no use for anything portable with music.

Any feedback on one unit better than another? the frontrunner right now for me is the kenwood DNX8120...
it always seems pioneer is better for your average HUS but when you start going for the really high end units, i heard kenwoods are better. the one you have in mind is a good choice and very top quality

I installed a JVC dd in my '07 several months ago. No problems. I replaced the trim bezel with a newer one to rid myself of the side slots. It looks better. Plus, with JVC simply connect the reverse wire and ground to make it play going down the road. No codes, or bypasses needed. Just don't play **** as cops tend to frown upon that on Sundays after church.

i like the pioneers except the z3 uses the GPS instead of a ground to prevent playing while car is in motion... and that can be a little hard to by pass. The main reason i like the kenwood is that it uses the garmin GPS, which is much better then the alternatives of pioneer, eclipse, or alpine.

I've owned 3 top of the line Kenwoods. Every one of them had motor problems with the flip faces. My first Cameleon deck I had to send back and get repaired 3 times. My 2nd deck had been sent out twice and I put that in my beater car when it came back and bought a new one for my truck. The new one broke 2 times and a week after that one broke, the 2nd one broke as well. That was the last time I'd ever own any Kenwood products again. Not to mention their buttons are so freakin tiny!
I had a JVC before the Kenwood. It too was top notch. Like $600 way back when. Sound quality sucked compared to the Kenwoods.
Now the Pioneer I have is as good sound quality and has even more adjustments than any of my Kenwoods and let me just say, Kenwood rocks the boat with user adjustability. Their EQ's are superb.
So I bought a Pioneer that the face does not move...lol

Well I bought one of Clarion's highest end units...navi,bluetooth, ipod, etc...havent had it a year and having to send it in, the white screen of death as they call it....kinda bulls**t considering my friend bought a pioneer for $200 less and has lasted longer and looks better....

Kenwood's are nice but i have always loved pioneer...maybe i should try one since i have to get a new dvd screen because clarion cannot build their product to specs ( and a crappy warranty)
