Talking may buy 02 or 03 crew cab

well, I've always thought that they look sexy and I can find one with 60k-80k miles in my price range.

I haven't gotten to look at one in person, but from my online research they seem to be my first choice. I'm going to be selling a car that was given to me to get it and I have a few questions.

1. is this a good car for a 17yr old?
2. how does it do on gas ( I want the v8 one)
3. does the middle seat in back come out easily? ( I'm into car audio and plan on fiberglassing in some subs where the middle seat would be)
4. Is it expensive to maintain?
5. how long would you say the engines/ trannys last?

can't really think of anything else. Thanks

i say just go ahead and buy one right now. dodge rams are great. people go over 100k without any issues. you maintain them like you would any other car. for gas mileage, id recommend the 4.7 because that gets the best but the hemi isnt really far behind in fuel economy. for car audio, there a lot things you can do to add subs, just be creative. where are you located and what are your price ranges?

1. i got mine when i was 16 so its good for new drivers since its big
2. hemi- i get between 12-15 combination driving
3. theres no middle seat in the back. its a 60/40 bench seat. i have a 12'' jl audio so you can look at my gallery
4. i dont think just the normal maintenance stuff
5. it will last as long as you want if you keep the maintenance up and take care of it

even in my reg cab, we have issues on campus parking. I usually have to back my truck in, but it has the 8ft bed so that contributes....
