assuming it'll fit in my truck...after all, they do in fact make a model of our trucks with the viper motor in it...

but of course, i'd need a trans, etc, someone to install it...nothing cheap basically...especially with a 2006 motor.

This guy, Tom, wants $5000 for it. It's a new 2006 viper crate motor. Alternator is on there, heads, valves, etc...everything except the waterpump. It's a new 2006 8.3 viper motor, that has NEVER been bolted into anything. 0 miles. He says he received it as a gift from a family member to put into his new charger, but it was a project he doesn't wanna get involved with (same reason i decided to back out of deal...cause i don't wanna drop 10,000 to 15,000 on throwing a viper motor in my truck). I think the factory probably got shut down and he just stole it...lol...that engine is worth a lot more than $5000.

but yea...anyone interested...PM me and i'll give u his cell phone number. He wants $5000 for it...and you'd need to pick it up in detroit, michigan...somehow.

 

what kind of family member buys you a viper engine as a gift??? lol
its a very good price but i really wish i had some of that cash lying around, oh well

but yea...i have $5000...but, if i were to buy this thing, i'm not willing to come up with like another $10,000 to get this thing put in...lol

 

i know of a dealership who has been sitting on a viper engine for a while too..similar deal...someone ordered it and then didnt want to get into it. i believe that this one has everything attached to it that it would in the car, from the intake to the manifolds..

Oh man, an SRT ram would be THE SICKEST. Although everytime i check out one of the srt ram forums, it's always. This broke today. oh i broke this. oh this is not working again. ha. So thats kinda sketch. But what do you expect.

^^ nope. just call him, talk to him...and that's all u can do. that's all i did. told him i was coming friday morning to get it, and then we tried to discuss how the hell to get it into the back of my truck. so, i felt he was serious.

and this engine, too, is everything....intake to manifolds. only thing missing is the computer and the waterpump...

 

Depending upon the year of your truck, the engine and computer could snap right into the harness. I have always been an SRT10 RAM fan...
