Default i almost bought a viper motor...

assuming it'll fit in my truck...after all, they do in fact make a model of our trucks with the viper motor in it...

but of course, i'd need a trans, shaft, computer, etc, someone to install it...nothing cheap basically...especially with a 2006 motor...that **** can't be cheap.

This guy, Tom, wants $5000 for it. It's a new 2006 viper crate motor. Alternator is on there, heads, valves, etc...everything except the waterpump. It's a new 2006 8.3 viper motor, that has NEVER been bolted into anything. 0 miles. He says he received it as a gift from a family member to put into his new charger, but it was a project he doesn't wanna get involved with (same reason i decided to back out of deal...cause i don't wanna drop 10,000 to 15,000 on throwing a viper motor in my truck). I think the factory probably got shut down and he just stole it...lol...that engine is worth a lot more than $5000.

but yea...anyone actually interested in it...PM me and i'll give u his cell phone number. He wants $5000 for it...and you'd need to pick it up in detroit, michigan...somehow.

no i dont think people will be that dumb to buy the motor for 5k then the hassle of putting it in and getting it right. also buying all the other parts which will make it like 10-15k. you can sell your truck and buy a srt for 20-23k. thats much easier

actually, i think it would be a good deal if you totaled your engine. you probably could only get a regular hemi for that price

I would like to have a Viper engine in my truck. But I think unless I needed a new engine, I would rather just buy a Ram SRT-10 Night Runner, regular cab w/6 speed (if I had the money).

Yes, insurance covers falling trees, that’s how I got my SRT hood.
