This works great, thanks a lot. And by the way, the high beam wire on the drivers side you need to splice into IS the White/Light Green one.

well I was looking at doing this today and I don't think its possible to do it on 06-08 rams. I was reading on another forum and they were saying that the pre 06' trucks use an Integrated Power Module (IPM) that uses a relays. 06' rams and later use a Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) that does not use relays and is not serviceable. Meaning that both the relay way of doing the fogs and brights as well as the jumper mod cannot be done to 06 and newer trucks, the only way to do it is buy one of the aftermarket modules.

No, not correct.

^^Correct. This mod cannot be done on any Electronically Intergated controlled vehicles. The Newer Rams 06+ have TIPM's (Totally Integrated Powertrain Module) ALL things are controlled through electronic relays via programming. Since everything is electronically controlled, they are ALL CANBUS operated. Canbus uses one wire for multiple operations and changing or adding anything to that circuit will cause electronic failure!!!

Relays are mechanical devices, a TIPM is a sensitive piece of electronics. Two different animals.

BTW, this has been already discussed within Hammer's thread which i believe is in the FAQ section?

Careful Dirtydog, I think signs of PTSD are showing.. Feelings such as dejavu and other 'flashback' sensations are common.

I concur with DD's post above.

I dont understand? I was only pointing out the quick truth of the differences. The quick situation that there is another more lengthy talked about thread incase they wanted(didn't have the link). And more-less that unless you have specific knowledge, you cannot just go connecting wires or adding relays...

I suppose using the search function or reading above posts did come to mind..haha, but I didn't want to be a jerk and soley point out those with no added help/info.

I initially followed that FAQ post to accomplish this but I wanted to still have the ability to control the foglights with the factory switch. It's a little more work but well worth it... Plus I got an excuse to buy a heat gun and soldering kit.
