'05 Ticking Noise
I can tell this is a good group of guys:
Well as you guys know, the dealership said there was nothing out of the ordinary with the engine, so I took the truck back. But, I'm not giving up on this. I made yet another appointment for this Friday to have this addressed, and I won't be passive this time around. This morning when I started the truck, it was very prevalent. There's no reason a truck with 27,000 miles should have such a loud knocking noise, regardless of the hemi tick. I also realized my e-brake is incredibly hard to apply, and it doesn't even work, the truck always rolls even when I left off the brake with the e-brake applied.
I don't know if this will work, but here's an audio clip from this morning:http://webmail.aol.com/42679/aol/en-...27-09_0839.wav

Damn. Does anybody here know how to upload an audio file from my cell phone. Usually I just send my cell phone videos to my e-mail, and then upload them on youtube. But I don't know of any program that will let me upload an audio file.
