I did but it was something like 10 hours away. Plus, I have a new mod that I am saving for so the hood is getting put on the back burner for now.

2 does the silencer mat on the underside of the stock hood swap over or is it useless with the new hood?

I know its a bit different but my mat fit right into my hood.

Generally hoods dont come painted just primed. If they offer to paint it before shipping, dont do it. They will get scratched up during shipping and more often than not the paint will be off quite a bit. Id have it painted before install for a perfect paint match.
