Its always nice to hear about a ford going down.... but.... I gotta ask since no one else picked up on it yet, you were doing 110+ when you beat the ford with no other modifications to your truck? If that is true I think you are either over exadgerating a little or the truck had a tune installed before you bought it since the speed limiter would have kicked in between 95 and 105.

The truck is very powerful, I don't see it having any power issues. Like I said, I beat my friends Ford who I never had a chance against before the hemi. I'm leaning towards what Ried said, the slow down shift. It felt like when I floored it, it just took forever for it to acknowledge that I was punching it, by that time it was too late. I know this truck moves though, because it had that F-150 a truck length the entire way up past 100mph.

Probably so. I've done some reviews online of these trucks, and I guess a lot of people have mentioned that the truck does have a poor downshift. I'm not at all concerned about the power of my truck, I'm already tickled silly that I toasted my friends f-150 stock, but figured I'd just share a funny story.
