Tried switching the relays again, nothing.

Can a back yard mechanic with hand tools replace the multi-stalk? Or does the steering wheel need to be pulled?

Why are many of us 3rd gens on the forum having the same problems? (i.e. rear diffs, steering racks, throttle issues, wiper problems)

Any other advice?

Default 2005 dodge dakota issues.....

I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota, bought it used, it has 66,650 miles, I have soo many problems with it, its so unreal. I just replaced the starter, new battery, new brakes and rotters, now my steering wheel is loose, my passenger side window does not roll down anymore, and wipers work when they want to. The weather doesnt seem to be a factor right now with the wipers. I called the dealership and of course they want to charge me to just "look" at it then tell me whats wrong. Does anyone else seem to have many problems with their Dodge? I noticed some people mentioning to check the relay switch under the hood, is this something a woman can do or check who is no clue about cars? I am a single mom and do not make much money so I cannot afford to take this truck in so any help will be wonderful..

I know I'm bringing an old thread back to life here;
my first posting, just bought an '05 1500 QC SLT. Has this mysterious wiper issue. Has anyone found a deffinet source of the problem?
Seems that replacing the relays didn't work, some people changed the switch, but no certainty if that was it or not.

Any updates?

my wipers in my 2009 1500 quad cab will 'park' themselves a few inches higher than what the 'normal' parked position should be.. other than that there is no problem with them acting up any other way.

can someone help me out? (I'm clueless how to do anything like switching the relays.. if that's even a solution)

Pull the arms off and clock them on a little lower.
