yeap, if you're drawing more current than the switch is rated for. i think you can get 30A switches too.

Weedahoe beat me too it but basically bc you run the risk of melting your switch or worse (fire) by running it directly from the battery to the switch. Especially if he uses the switch that came with the kit, it is not the highest quality switch.

Your going to have a hard time finding them this cheap... get em now!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-H...Q5fAccessories

also, heres a writeup I found handy.https://dodgeforum.com/forum/diy-do-...-properly.html

When I did my installation, I followed pretty close to what this writeup said. I used 14 Ga wire, ran an inline fuse, upgraded my rocker switch, and hardwired it straight to the battery, giving me power to turn on whenever I wanted, and letting me run 100w bulbs versus 55w.

With the kit as it is sent, you can only turn the lights on when your brights are on, i think, or something like that. I can post a picture of the 55w bulb, and the 100w bulbs for comparison. But if your going to buy, buy now, you wont find a better deal than this!

your payment of $159.96 USD has been completed, and "deal-monger" will appear on your credit card statement. You'll receive an email receipt shortly.
